Traditional Provencal farmhouse with pool set among vines and olive trees
Welcome to the Mazet bleu, our «coup de Cœur». There is no other place like this! You will be surrounded by nature, incredible landscapes, absolute calm, but close enough to all facilities (by car or bike). You will have a terrific view of the Mt. Ventoux and surrounding area. The semi-detached house is an old authentic mas from the 19th century, decorated which much love and taste.

A carefully restored mazet (traditional farmhouse) on a private track outside the small village of Blauvac. The interior mixes the traditional with contemporary furnishings. The living room has a sofa & 2 armchairs with an open fireplace, and the spacious dining room (with wood-burner for winter days) seats 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, oven and 2 fridges. A shower and WC lead off the kitchen.
There are four bedrooms, each with lovely views and comfortably but simply furnished. On the first floor are two bedrooms; the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and the second room with twin beds. There is a further bathroom with shower and two bedrooms (one double and one twin) on the second floor.

Outside there are terraced areas for al fresco eating, as well as a barbecue, dining table, chairs and parasols. The large pool (11 x 5m) has deck chairs & sun loungers from which to enjoy the panoramic views. There is a shaded area under the cypress trees for parking.
The Location
Le Mazet bleu is located in the heart of the Vaucluse area of Provence. The house is high on a hillside opposite Blauvac, a typical «village perché.» To the south and east, you can see the rolling Monts de Vaucluse and to the north the ‘Giant of Provence’ the Mont Ventoux, 1912 m.

Rental prices:
Low season, November to March: 1350 € p/week
Season start, April and October: 1800 € p/week
Middle season, Mai, June and September: 2700 € p/week

Included:
Cleaning at the end of your stay. We supply bedding, linen, hand towels and tea towels for the kitchen and bathrooms. Please bring your own towels and outdoor towels for the swimming pool or the beach.
Check-in/Check-out:
Arrivals at 5:00 pm local time, our housekeeper Caroline will welcome you. Departure time, 09:00 am.
How to book
1. Check by phone or e-mail that your dates are available.
2. A booking form will then be sent to you and your booking held for four working days.
3. The booking form must be returned, and 30% deposit paid within these four days to guarantee your booking. After four working days we may offer the dates elsewhere.

Payment
5. The booking form must be accompanied by the booking deposit of 30% of the rent.
6. The balance of the booking price must be paid at least eight weeks prior to the arrival date, failing which we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and cancellation charges* will apply. If booking less than eight weeks prior to arrival, the full amount is payable on booking.

*cancellation of a booking will incur the following charges: more than 56 days (8 weeks) before arrival date 30%; 56 days or less before arrival date 100%.

We have been travelling in Provence for more than 20 years, and this is our second home. We are happy to share it with you, and we are sure, you will love it as much as we do. We are both Swiss citizens with two school age children. We enjoy nature, culture, food, walking and cycling, all of which we can enjoy in this beautiful area.
